What to Expect When Visiting Our Boulder Practice

Welcome to Healthy Now Chiropractic and Healing Center.

Your First Visit

You can expect to find friendly people at Healthy Now Chiropractic and Healing Center. Before your first session, you'll be asked to complete a few health questionnaires to assist initial communications between yourself and Dr. Ditter. After a preliminary discussion with Dr. Ditter, she'll perform various tests to determine your body's priorities for the restoration and optimization of your wellness.

Your Second Visit

Upon your second visit, Dr. Ditter will present you with a Report of Findings, complete with an explanation of each finding and a recommended path to wellness. You'll also receive your first 'treatment', based on your body's priorities.

A Typical Office Visit

Although our client-partners spend very little time in the waiting room, Healthy Now offers a 4-Minute Workout Range of Motion (ROM) Machine to optimize each visit. Don't like sitting? Monthly Membership Fees for the ROM are available. Membership includes using the machine any time the clinic is open, exercising in your own private room, a computerized analysis of your fat mass ratio, lean muscle mass and Basal Metabolic Rate (with re-analysis every 3 months), complete measurements and weight, and an initial orientation and custom fitting of the equipment to your body and fitness level. Try if for FREE four times.

Dr. Shelly Asks some important questions of interest to Boulder residents - Chiropractor Boulder Dr. Shelly Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
